• Duty outside working hours and at weekends, available on telephone: 06 30 949 8901. Telephone duty ensures that in the case of injury to health or the danger thereof VIP card holders are given fast and exact information as to what they needs to do and what assistance they might need. (Telephone duty is available in English as well)
• In urgent cases HMM's doctors on duty arrive at the patient in 30 minutes in the area of Budapest (in 60-90 minutes in the area of Pest, Komárom-Esztergom counties). Any further necessary steps are defined by HMM. There is a possibility also for the VIP employee, on the basis of the opinion of the doctor in charge, to consult directly with the head physician of HMM.
• If required, we provide for the patient to be taken to hospital (HMM therapeutic centre). The patient's transport to the therapeutic centre is provided by taxi or by HMM's own VIP ambulance.
• Foreigners are treated by English speaking physicians and receive assistance in English language.
• In non-acute cases medical advice and a non-limited number of internist or specialist calls are provided all the year round. The calls are mainly provided in the central surgery of HMM. Should the establishment of the diagnosis or the execution of smaller medical interventions require, our patients are received at one of HMM's contractual therapeutic centres.
• The use of HMM therapeutic centres according to the type of medical intervention required. Using the services of the HMM therapeutic centre entails no additional costs. These centres are used on the basis of HMM's contracts and under permanent supervision.
